So... How Much Is It Worth?

Precious metals like gold, silver and platinum are traded on the international commodities market and their value changes daily. Trading comes in many forms and has its own language but the current selling price is called the "fix price". We pay for your gold according to the gold, silver or platinum based on the closing prices in the London & New York markets. Settlements are based on a straightforward calculation using the purity of the metal (e.g. karat), total weight and the closing fix price. To get an idea of what your settlement would be, enter the current PM fix price from the table at the right (U.S. dollars, only) into the "current price" box for the metal you are interested in. Click the "Show Quote…" button and you will see the price per troy oz, penny weight and grams (gold only) that we are offering.
Remember! These prices change daily and we pay according to the closing fix price on the day of settlement so the price then may vary from what you see in the quote charts today!
Please Be Advised:
We publish ALL our prices for Gold, platinum & silver so you can see in advance how much you may get for your gold. None of the TV buyers do so and most of the Internet buyers do not because they do not want you to see how little they pay!
IF THE DEALER DOES NOT PUBLISH PRICES . . . BEWARE!
50% of all profits go to help support the Howard Academy for the Metal Arts, the balance goes to our wonderful investors and some goes into a scholarship fund managed by the HAMA Foundation Inc. ( a 501(c)(3) charity) for the benefit of the metal arts & deserving students.
Troy weight is used to weigh precious metals. Avoirdupois weight (grams) is used to weigh hamburger, postal items etc.
